Marking its 15th anniversary, the Fakih IVF fertility group has launched an initiative to help families facing financial barriers to treatment

Fakih IVF will provide 15 complimentary IVF cycles to 15 eligible families in the UAE through its new ‘15 Years of Family’ initiative.

Applications are now open for the programme, which aims to support families facing financial barriers to fertility treatment. Participation is subject to medical, eligibility and programme criteria.

The initiative marks the group’s 15th anniversary in the UAE and coincides with the country’s Year of the Family.

Since opening its first centre in Dubai, Fakih IVF has expanded to more than eight fertility clinics across the UAE. Over that period, the group has invested in reproductive medicine, embryology, genetics and diagnostic technology, broadening the treatments available locally.

‘When we opened Fakih IVF, our ambition was clear: families in the UAE should be able to access world-class reproductive care without having to travel abroad,’ said Dr Michael Fakih, founder and chairman of Fakih IVF Fertility Group. ‘What began as one center has grown alongside the UAE, its healthcare sector and the needs of the communities we serve.’

Dr Fakih said developments in fertility treatment had been supported by investment in the UAE’s healthcare sector, alongside evolving clinical standards and regulatory frameworks.

‘Our responsibility is to continue matching that ambition, investing in expertise and technology, advancing standards of care and ensuring families have access to the latest reproductive treatments here in the UAE.’

The anniversary programme turns that focus towards families who may otherwise struggle to afford treatment, offering one complimentary IVF cycle to each of the 15 eligible families.

‘Our legacy is not defined by the number of years we have been here or the number of centers we have opened. It is defined by the thousands of families whose journeys we have been privileged to share,’ Dr Fakih said.

‘Family has been our purpose from the beginning, which makes marking our 15th anniversary during the UAE’s Year of the Family especially meaningful. The UAE has given us the environment and opportunity to grow and innovate, and we believe the most meaningful way to celebrate is to give back to the community that has been part of our journey.’
