Amidst the growing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Dubai based Chef Reif Othman’s Asian dining spots – Reif Japanese Kushiyaki and Hoe Lee Kow in Dubai Hills – are collaborating for the next ‘Gather For Gaza’ initiative, aimed at creating an impactful evening of solidarity and support.
Taking place on November 20th at 7pm, guests can expect a heartfelt charity dinner featuring a communal-style menu. Tickets are priced at AED 500, AED 750, and AED 1000, which includes food and non-alcoholic drinks.
Every dirham of your ticket purchase will go directly to the Little Wings Foundation in partnership with Al Jalila Foundation to aid in delivering crucial medical support to the children of Gaza.
Soul Collective DXB, a group made up of chefs, restaurateurs, and creative minds, launched
the ‘Gather for Gaza’ fundraising initiative to stand united in support of the people of Palestine.
The inaugural ‘Gather For Gaza’ event, which was held on October 30th, showcased 10 Dubai-based food brands, several Palestinian artists and a gathering of 300 supporters.
Hosted by Hattem Mattar, the event successfully raised over Dhs125,000, all of which was donated to the Emirates Red Crescent to support civilians impacted by the ongoing conflict.
Future events will also take place at Zinn and 71 Steak & Grill.
