At a time when routines have changed and screens have taken over our kids’ day-to-day activities, Terra Expo City Dubai is offering a nature-inspired after-school programme to bring real-world connection back into the afternoon.
Designed for children aged 5–12, the weekday camp arrives at a time when many households are navigating extended distance learning, blurred boundaries between home and school, and the low-level anxiety that comes with it.

Running from now until early April, from 3pm to 6 pm, children attending Terra’s After-School Camp are guided through shaded gardens, ponds, and interactive outdoor spaces offering an escape from indoor classrooms and endless notifications.
One day might follow the path of pollinators, while another could explore life beneath the surface of ponds and wadis. There are eco-discovery sessions, creative workshops, and hands-on activities that introduce environmental awareness without feeling like another lesson.
For parents balancing work with remote schooling, the timing falls neatly into that late-afternoon window. So while children reconnect with nature, adults are accommodated too. Expo City Dubai offers nearby workspaces, cafés, and shaded outdoor areas so parents can stay and work close by.

There’s even a practical incentive with discounted co-working spaces and reduced dining across venues like PXB Café and The Daily.
This new after-school programme is about giving children space to be children again. Off screens, outdoors, and engaged in something tactile and real. And for parents, it offers a sense of normality during a period that, for many, still feels unsettled.
