Umm Al Emarat Park has teamed up with Tadweer Group to launch the ‘Cap Your Way to Sustainability’ campaign, a six-month initiative encouraging residents to donate used bottle caps in support of environmental awareness.
The park will act as a central drop-off location, with additional bins placed at the park’s main gate, Totó restaurant on Saadiyat Island, Al Raha Beach C2 Tower, and three mobile Tadweer collection points across Abu Dhabi and the Western Region. The collected caps will be used as part of a larger sustainability initiative to be unveiled later this year.
This campaign is part of a broader partnership between Umm Al Emarat Park and Tadweer Group, established through a Memorandum of Understanding signed earlier this year. The collaboration aims to boost environmental education and promote sustainable habits within the Abu Dhabi community.
As part of its ongoing green efforts, the park also hosts two of Tadweer’s 25 Reverse Vending Machines, rewarding users for recycling plastic bottles and aluminum cans through the Tadweer Rewards app. Recent events, such as the ‘Naq’a’ recycling activation, have also engaged families with interactive sustainability workshops and games.
