Dubai-born beachwear brand Bellaplage has announced a month-long collaboration with UAE-based animal rescue organisation Six Hounds and Co, pledging to donate 50 per cent of all online sales this April to support the care, treatment, and rehabilitation of abandoned pets.
The initiative comes at a time when privately owned animal shelters across the UAE are facing increasing pressure due to the current regional situation, as expats return home and leave their pets behind.
Privately owned shelters face significant challenges due to limited financial support, alongside a rising number of rescue cases requiring urgent medical attention and long-term care. These shelters are mainly self-funded and rely heavily on community support.
Through this partnership, Bellaplage will use its platform and community to support a meaningful cause, turning everyday purchases into direct support for animals in need.

Founded in Dubai, Bellaplage is known for its bold, statement beachwear designed to transition seamlessly from beach to social settings. While rooted in a vibrant, glamour-led aesthetic, the brand has increasingly sought to align itself with initiatives that carry deeper purpose and social impact.
‘Bellaplage was created around the idea of joy, confidence, and connection,’ Marilyne Morin, Co-Founder of Bellaplage says. ‘Partnering with Six Hounds allows us to extend that vision beyond fashion, supporting a cause that is incredibly close to our hearts. In moments like these, it feels important to use our platform in a way that can make a tangible difference in the lives of these animals.’
Co-founder Natalia Huber added: ‘As a brand, we have always believed in creating pieces that make people feel good. This initiative is about going a step further, turning that positive energy into something meaningful. Supporting Six Hounds felt like a natural and deeply personal choice for us.’
Six Hounds and Co is UAE CSR licensed and registered with MOCCAE, in line with recognised standards of animal welfare and community responsibility. The organisation has built a strong reputation in the UAE for its hands-on rescue efforts, including neonatal care, emergency and long-term medical treatment, and providing a privately funded shelter in a home-like environment, as well as rehabilitation for abandoned and abused animals, many of whom require intensive treatment before they can be rehomed.
Some of these animals have been with Six Hounds for over three years and are still undergoing medical treatment.
‘This collaboration is a meaningful example of how hearts and brands can play a role beyond their core business,’ explains Anso Stander, Founder of Six Hounds and Co. ‘Support like this directly impacts our ability to continue rescuing and treating animals, and to give them a second chance.’
Customers shopping via Bellaplage’s website will automatically contribute to the initiative, with no additional steps required.
The collaboration will also be supported by a joint awareness campaign across both brands’ digital platforms, aiming to engage the wider community and encourage collective action.
As consumer awareness around purpose-driven brands continues to grow, initiatives such as this highlight the evolving role of lifestyle brands in contributing to wider social and community efforts and raising awareness around causes that matter.
