Musical maestro Ovidio De Ferrari is taking his ‘Musical Voyage ‘ which sees digital art meets symphonic orchestral performances to Dubai’s Sustainable City.
It is the first event produced by IMMERSEE, the UAE’s newest cultural destination inside the SEE Institute, a pioneering net zero building.
An acclaimed pianist, conductor and arranger De Ferrari will perform intricate piano compositions alongside the vocal talents of Emily Linge.
They will be accompanied by a 25-piece orchestra of symphonic instruments, alongside Latin percussion and electric bass.
The repertoire will include a collection of De Ferrari’s own compositions as well as his take on several contemporary classics and will be set against a backdrop of curated digital art.
The organisers promise ‘an unforgettable evening of music and art’.
Born in Chile, De Ferrari has played in 25 countries around the world and performed, produced, conducted and organised hundreds of different music events as well as founding his own music school in Dubai and being appointed conductor of the Dubai Chamber Orchestra.
A musical prodigy he was able to play properly at the age of five. He said: ‘The natural way of approaching the instrument and growing among musicians helped me to develop the talent of making music from the very beginning. I thought the whole world played the piano.’
The shows take place on Friday 16th February, at 8pm and Saturday 17th February, at 7:30pm.
