Dubai’s Real Pilates is teaming up with Activeist for ROOTED, a limited-edition activewear collection and a takeover of its JLT studio from 10 to 18 October.

The collaboration spotlights Activeist, a Palestinian, female-founded label born in Dubai, whose ethically made clothes use lower-impact materials, designed to last.

Launching on 10 October, the collaboration brings together two Dubai brands around the ideas of passion, resilience and kindness, with a fourth theme, Rooted in Dubai, recognising the city in which both businesses grew.

It’s a fitting partnership for Activeist founder Dania Istaitie, whose label puts community alongside conscious production, and for Real Pilates, which has spent 17 years building a following across its studios.

The capsule moves between the Pilates studio and everyday life, with leggings, sports bras, tanks and T-shirts in sage green, beige and black.

There are also grip socks, a vintage-washed cap and a silver-plated heart keychain featuring kuffiyeh-inspired artwork.

Prices start at AED 65 for the keychain, while the leggings are AED 175. Real Pilates instructors and clients model the collection, giving the campaign a sense of the people who actually use the studio.

From 10 to 18 October, Real Pilates JLT will turn green for the ROOTED takeover, with programming across the week and Catcha Matcha popping up on both weekends. Visitors can browse the full collection there; selected pieces will also be available at the Jumeirah and Meydan studios.

During the collaboration, Real Pilates is offering 10 per cent off its five- and ten-class mat, Reformer and private packages.

For Dania, the partnership grew from a shared belief in what a local community can do. ‘We wanted to create something that felt true to both brands, but more importantly, true to the community it was created for,’ she says.
