Why COYA’s Mama Quilla Month Is the Dinner Date You Didn’t Know You Needed

2 mins

Dine with purpose this month at COYA, where their AED 299 Mama Quilla menu gives back, with 15% of proceeds going to Dubai Cares

This month, COYA is giving you more than just killer palm ceviche. The iconic restaurant has launched the first-ever Mama Quilla, a month-long global celebration that brings together empowerment, art, and philanthropy.

Named after the Andean goddess of the moon, femininity, and protection, Mama Quilla is a tribute to the divine feminine and a reminder that dining out can do good.

From April 15 to May 15 in Dubai (and April 20 to May 20 in Abu Dhabi), guests can order a special AED 299 set menu, with 15 per cent of proceeds going to Dubai Cares, supporting access to quality education for children around the world.

But there’s more to this celebration than food, their calendar is also packed with activations.

On April 24, COYA Abu Dhabi will host an immersive art showcase by Emilie Dubois, known for her bold, abstract works inspired by emotion and Latin American heritage.

Over in Dubai that same day, guests can roll up their sleeves for an unforgettable masterclass with Chef Penelope Diaz, backed by a live DJ and curated canapés and drinks.

The celebrations wrap up in style on April 25, as Emirati illustrator Marwa Hashim debuts Lace & Line: A Monochrome Exploration of Intricate Femininity, her new collection inspired by the grace and strength of Mama Quilla herself.

Expect powerful visuals, insightful conversation, and live music from the GoodVibes Duet in the Pisco Bar plus a few surprise sips and bites along the way.
